About Acyclic

Engineers accountable for what ships.

Acyclic is a standalone software engineering firm founded by Graham Goudeau, an engineer.

Software is an operating decision.

The hardest part of a consequential system is rarely the first working version. It is deciding which behavior must remain true after the team changes, the workload shifts, and the exceptional case becomes routine.

Acyclic works where that question has practical weight: operational records, money movement, and private AI inside a client environment. We bring senior engineers into the work, use agents for much of the build, and keep human ownership of the architecture and the result.

Our way of working starts with acceptance criteria. If we cannot say what success looks like in the actual environment, we have more discovery to do. Once we can, we build toward that result and stand behind what we ship.

Working territory

Private AI. Operational software. Delivery in context.

Research as engineering practice

Our model-serving research tests deployment possibilities, including 500B+ parameter MoE inference on single-workstation hardware.

Close to the operator

We build with the people responsible for the workflow, so the system reflects decisions and exceptions as they happen.

Bring us the system that has to work.

Tell us what is blocking delivery, what must be true at acceptance, and when it matters.
